3M™ CeQUIN™ IFI Inorganic Insulating Paper is a three-ply composite of 3M™ CeQUIN I Inorganic Insulating Paper bonded to both sides of polyester (PET) film for use in high-temperature electrical insulating applications. Qualified for use in electrical insulation systems up to Class 220® per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085, CSA Component Acceptance at 220 deg C. Applications include ground and layer insulation in dry-type transformers, as well as barrier and core-wrap insulation. CeQUIN IFI laminates are compatible with commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins, and are easily impregnated, further enhancing thermal conductivity and coil bonding characteristics.
