Die-Cutting, Slitting, Laminating and Converting Services for Military and Aerospace Applications

In the military and aerospace markets, EIS delivers flexible materials converting services, advanced electrical insulationthermal managementEMI/RFI shielding materials, precision laser cut gaskets and seals, and adhesive solutions for complex and compact microelectronics designs whether in a cockpit or a command center. EIS can die-cut, slit, and laminate to create the components necessary to keep mission-critical electronics systems functioning as designed.

Adhesives are quickly metal fasteners and other metal joining solutions in military and aerospace applications, even as plastics and composite materials replace metal.

Plastics and composites provide the strength and durability required in these industries while also providing distinct advantages in weight and cost reduction.

In aircraft exteriors, thin-film bonding systems are used in applications such as bonding stainless steel anti-chafing strips to aluminum wing flaps. The surface protection strips prevent abrasion between the flap and the underside of the wing during deployment of the flaps for takeoffs and landings. Adhesive transfer tapes are well-suited for this application due to their bond durability and resistance to environmental extremes.

EIS provides research and development, testing, finished parts, and an experienced engineering team for all projects. Complete confidentiality ensures the integrity of the product development process.
