Both heavy build shaped Super Hyslik 200 and Therm-Aimid are dual film insulation systems composed of THEIC modified polyester with a polyamideimide (AI) overcoat. Therm-Aimid, designed for continuous operation at 200 deg C, provides superior abrasion resistance, solvent resistance and overload protection. Rea applied its Hyslik technology to this product and introduced Super Hyslik 200.
Featuring the same materials, construction and benefits as Therm-Aimid, heavy build shaped Super Hyslik 200 includes a proprietary internal lubricating system to aid windability and insertion. Today, Super Hyslik 200 has replaced Therm-Aimid in all AWG 10 - 34 applications. Excellent dielectric properties.
