Looking for Fabrico? Don't worry, you're in the right place! Fabrico is now EIS Fabrication Solutions.
EIS supplies adhesive tapes to support a variety of manufacturing processes, both for bonding and joining, and to mark certain areas for painting and varnishing. Tapes are also used as integral components of specific electrical systems, such as motors and transformers.
In choosing the correct tape for a given application, EIS engineers consider such factors as the prevailing temperature of the manufacturing process, the required tackiness, and protecting the end product from adhesive residue. Many tapes are available, including electrical tape, vibration dampening tape, and die-cut foam tape. Final product assembly may include such materials as film, paper, and copper foil.
EIS offers single coated tapes that are available in custom and standard widths with various backing materials and adhesives.
Single coated tapes are offered with and without liners and coated with rubber, acrylic, or silicone adhesives. EIS slits and die cuts paper, film, foil, and specialty tapes for a wide variety of applications across many markets. We have standard size rolls in stock or can custom slit these tapes to the most exacting tolerances. We also offer tapes from various world-class vendors, so we can provide the exact product to meet the needs of your most demanding application.
EIS provides double-coated tapes for a variety of bonding, attaching, and laminating applications.
Our double-coated tape lines are available in a wide variety of tack strengths and release values. These products are provided with liners on both sides and allow the user to bond both high and low surface energy materials. EIS can provide these tapes in roll form or as die-cut parts. We are also able to design custom laminates that utilize double-coated materials in the product construction. Several of the products are provided with different adhesives coated on either side or different types of adhesive to meet the most challenging application requirement.
Adhesive Transfer Tapes are rolls of pressure-sensitive adhesive designed to adhere to many different substrates. For application, the tape is simply pressed, adhesive side down, to a surface, and the liner is peeled off.
Adhesive transfer tapes are suitable for adhering, joining, affixing, bonding, mounting, holding, laminating, and splicing. They are available for applications that include laminating high-performance materials and difficult to bond surfaces or substrates. Transfer tapes offer both low tack and high tack and shear strength versions. Many of them provide excellent temperature and solvent resistance, excellent adhesion to foams and foils. They can be used for joining materials that have a wide range of surface textures.
EIS is a supplier and converter of the entire range of 3M™ VHB™ acrylic foam tapes. VHB tape can replace mechanical fasteners in many applications by providing:
- Instant bonding
- Shock absorption
- Stress distribution across the bond for high strength
- Flexibility to accommodate expansion and contraction
- Permanent waterproof seal
- Conformable to substrate irregularities
- Smooth, invisible appearance
- Improved productivity by eliminating drilling, welding, grinding, and clean-up
These tapes have remarkably high holding power for static and dynamic loads and are reliable and durable. The 3M family of VHB tapes includes the RP, 5952, and 4941 families of tapes.
The 3M VHB RP family includes RP16, RP25, RP45, and RP62 and is well-suited to resist UV and weather damage in outdoor applications. It bonds to:
- Many plastics
- Painted surfaces
The 3M VHB 5952 family includes 5915, 5915P, 5925, 5925P, 5930, 5930P, 5952, 5952P, 5962, 5962P, and 5958FR. Conformable acrylic foam is combined with modified acrylic adhesive resulting in a tape that adheres to the broadest substrates. Applications include medium surface-energy plastics, such as rigid PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, and polystyrene.
3M VHB 4941 tape family includes 4926, 4936, 4936F, 4919F, 4941, 4941F, 4947F, 4956, 4956F, 4979F, and 4991. This tape family performs well in outdoor applications and harsh environments. It can also be used with painted/sealed porous surfaces like wood and concrete.
EIS offers many specialty tapes for a wide variety of applications. From repulpable tapes to cling films, we have the specialty tape to meet your application needs.
EIS has tapes to meet the custom needs of the printing, paper, and packaging markets with our complete inventory of specialty tape products. We can offer these tapes in custom and standard sizes and have many available off the shelf for immediate shipping.
