Nu-Sleeve VPI-200 is a double wall coated fiberglass sleeving. It is made by applying a layer of silicone rubber to a braided electrical grade fiberglass substrate to produce a Grade A silicone rubber coated fiberglass sleeving. Has excellent electrical properties, excellent heat stability and is designed to wick-in and retain resins for added dielectric and mechanical properties without the excessive bulk. - The sleeving is then overbraided with a 3-ply fiberglass MIL-Y-1140H yarn to provide a high degree of abrasion resistance and saturability for vacuum pressure impregnation.
