LevelWrap Mil-Spec LW401 has tapered edges and a colored line along its apex. The purpose of the line is to act as a guide for subsequent wraps in order to form a uniformly thick layer. They bond irreversibly to provide an insulative barrier that is resistant to moisture, oxygen, ozone and corona over a wide temperature range (-65 to 500 deg F). Arlon STD silicone tapes provide superior electrical insulation with a dielectric strength of 300 VPM minimum at 356 deg F.

Arlon LevelWrap LW401 Mil-Spec fusible tapes have tapered edges and a colored line along the apex. The triangular profile allows the tape to form a smooth surface when each wrap is advanced one half the tapes width.
