3M VHB tape 4952 is in the 4952 family of 3M VHB tapes. It utilizes a low surface energy adhesive on both sides of a firm, foam core. This synthetic adhesive bonds to a variety of smooth surfaces, including lower surface energy substrates such as many plastics and powder coated paints. - Applications for this tape include stiffener bonding, sealing polycarbonate lens over LCD, windows to painted control panels and mounting vinyl wiring ducts and conduit channels.
