77866 excellent flexibility of the resin binder and the mechanical protection from the polyester film facing on both sides provide ease of winding and resistance to cracking from starting surges. Mica Mat 77866 is a film faced, glass cloth reinforced flexible, fully cured resin bonded mica paper tape designed for use as ground insulation of AC stator windings. It is 6 Mil thick with 2 Mil calcined mica paper for excellent long term electric properties.
