Insulgrease SG146LV is a soft non-toxic, grease-like compound based on a thickened silicone fluid. Insulgrease SG 146LV is chemically inert and is useful as a release agent and offers excellent lubrication on plastic and rubber surfaces. Insulgrease SG 146LV is non corrosive and oxidation resistant. With high dielectric strength and good hydrolytic stability, it is also water repellent and radiation resistant. - While not designed for bearing surfaces under heavy loads, it will provide good results for light loads. As it is a silicone, the change in its viscosity over a broad temperature range of -40 to 400 °F is very low, thus preventing runoff or stiffening to the point of insurability.
