3M hot melt adhesive 3779 is an amber-colored, high performance, thermoplastic adhesive formulated for strong resistance to heat, impact, fuel and oil. We engineered this multi-purpose hot melt adhesive to be an effective solution for many applications, particularly for electronics and potting. In addition, this hot melt adhesive is extremely stable in high temperatures (300 °F). - 3M hot melt adhesives are heat applied, 100% solids adhesives. 3M hot melt 3747, 3779, 3789 and 3797 are thermoplastic adhesives to bond to wide variety of substrates such as wood, plastic, vinyl, metal and glass.
