Scotch fine line tape 218 is a high performance polypropylene plastic film with a low profile and high adhesion for use in creating long straight lines and sweeping curves where a crisp, sharp paint line is desired. It is often used as a layout tape for high value multi-color and custom painted graphics. - Tape thinness provides excellent color line separation. Performs well for long straight lines and smooth curves. Offers excellent moisture and solvent resistances. Backing allows taping over fresh paint sooner than paper tapes with less chance of damage.
Features
- Features natural rubber adhesive for quick adhesion
- Easy tear, pressure sensitive
- Polypropylene backing is stiff and less stretchy than vinyl fine line tapes, but conforms easily around corners
- Should not be subjected to outdoor exposure or prolonged periods of sunlight exposure as tape may become very difficult to remove
