3M™ TufQuin™ TF Inorganic Hybrid Insulating Paper-Polyester Laminate. This is a 2-ply composite of TufQuin bonded on one side with PET film for high-temperature electrical insulation applications. Qualified for use in electrical insulation systems up to Class 200(N) per UL 1446 and IEC Std. 60085, CSA Component Acceptance at 200 °C. Applications include slot cell, phase, and wedge insulation in motors and generators, and ground and layer insulation in dry-type transformers. TF laminates are flexible, conformable materials with high tensile strength, excellent tear resistance, and low moisture absorption.
