Star Technology BC-24 Balancing Compound, 2 lb Kit, Blue/Yellow, MFR ID BC24-2LB

BC-24 is a two-part epoxy balancing compound for use in weight addition balancing of electric motor armatures. BC-24 has a smooth, fibrous, putty-like consistency, which keeps the compound from migrating during the balancing process. The two-parts of the putty, parts A and B, are mixed 1:1 by volume or by weight. The Blue Part A and the Yellow Part B are easily mixed by hand until the color is a consistent green. - The BC-24 may then be placed on the motor armature as indicated until the armature is in balance. The working life of the mixed BC-24 is approximately 15 min, depending on mass and temperature. Overnight, BC-24 cures to a solid, which resists moisture and solvents. This product may contain fillers that may settle over time. Product may need to be stirred before using. Customer must determine suitability of product before using.
