D-Wrap pressure sensitive tape is a 1 Mil blue high temperature high tensile polyester film coated with a fully cured silicone adhesive. There is no contamination problem from the silicone adhesive because it is fully cured and does not transfer. - It is used as a masking agent on panels subject to caustic or acid bath etching. D-Wrap is far superior to paper tapes because it will not cause a fire in your oven or autoclave and it will not leave residue on your tool surfaces.

- D-Wrap pressure sensitive tape has also been recommended for use by aircraft companies on metal surfaces that have been phosphoric anodized because it releases clean without leaving a residue
