3M polyethylene protective tape 3179C has a very high tack adhesive system to help provide temporary protection of plastics and fabrics. High coating weight will wet out most surfaces with low contact area to help decrease rework. Not intended for use on wet or damp surfaces including surfaces recently installed with wet adhesive. - Provides temporary protection of many heavily textured flat gloss surfaces. Non-UV applications requiring good clarity, low elongation and good abrasion resistance. High tack adhesive will adhere to most matte textured materials to help reduce rework.
