Round heavy build Rea ML is a film insulation composed of aromatic polyimide resin. Capable of continuous operation at 240 °C, ML is designed to withstand extremely harsh environments. It is ideally suited for severe high temperature continuous duty as well as aerospace applications. - Round heavy build Rea ML exhibits the highest thermal capabilities and chemical stability of any available organic film insulated magnet wire.
Features
- Extraordinary thermal and chemical stability
- Highest overload resistance, cut thru resistance and operating temperature classification of any Rea film insulation
- Exhibits high resistance to radiation
- Minimum outgassing makes ML ideal for use in hermetically sealed coils and relays
- Chemically compatible with the widest range of solvents, varnishes and encapsulating materials
Applications
- For Dry Type Transformers, Traction Motors, DC Field Coils, Submersible Pump Motors, High Temperature Coils and Relays, Encapsulated Coils and Hermetically Sealed Relays
