3M 57 electrical tape is a 2 Mil transparent polyester film with rubber thermosetting adhesive. Rated for use up to 130 °C, it withstands higher temperature conditions than tapes with acetate film backing. - 3M polyester film electrical tape 57 is specified for insulating applications requiring a thin, durable tape with high dielectric strength, such as for wrapping coils and capacitors and holding applications.
