3M electrical tape 55, 0.0075 Inch thick tape is a polyester web reinforced polyester film coated with a rubber pressure sensitive adhesive. On a 3 Inch paper core, this edge tear and puncture-resistant tape is tough and conformable with excellent electrical properties. - 3M 55 tape is a polyester film/mat composite. Can be used as a coil cover. For used in end turns, lead pad, core layer and crossover insulation.
