3M™ Tape Super 10 has a thermosetting, pressure sensitive, rubber adhesive and is resistant to heat, oxidation, solvents and oils. This puncture resistant tape has excellent electrical and handling properties. This highly conformable tape is tough and provides resistance to solder damage. UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
3M™ Epoxy Film Electrical Tape Super 10 is a 5 mil thick, high dielectric electrical tape. The flame retardant tape is used as a coil cover, anchor, harnessing, banding, core, layer and crossover insulation. This tape is 600V rated and withstands a temperature range of 32 to 311 °F (0 to 155 °C).
Features
- Tape is tough, conformable and resistant to solder damage
- Its thermosetting rubber adhesive has good initial adhesion and electrical purity
- Use as coil cover, anchor, harnessing, banding and as core, layer and crossover insulation
- Thicker, double-sided epoxy for higher temperature and dielectric
- The adhesive coating shall be smooth and uniform and be free of lumps and bare spots
- There shall be no separator between adjacent layers of the roll
- The tape shall perform at a temperature of 311 °F without loss of physical or electrical properties
- Temperature rating of 0 to 155 °C
Applications
- For Wrapping Relays, Coils, Transformers, Bobbin-Wound Sub-Fractional Horsepower Shaded-Pole Motors and Stick-Wound Coils, also for Holding in Fractional Horsepower Motors, Arbor-Wound Coils and Wire Harnesses
