3M 9482PC is an adhesive transfer tape with adhesive 350 that is a modified acrylic adhesive ideal for very high-bond strength to many surfaces. They have excellent chemical resistance and bold strength even at elevated temperatures. These tapes are offered with a fiber reinforced adhesive which is important for roll stability in narrow widths. - Tapes using adhesive 350 are designed for temperature exposure to 232 °C for short periods of time and up to 149 °C over long time frames. This adhesive is a good choice for applications which require adhesion to Low Surface Energy plastics, powder coatings and oily metals.
Features
- 2 Mil adhesive transfer tape. 62 lb polycoated kraft paper liner for steel rule die-cutting, meets UL specification, 350 high performance acrylic adhesive
- High tack and shear strength. Excellent temperature and solvent resistance. Excellent adhesion to plastics and foams. Used for joining materials that are relatively smooth, thin and have low residual stress.
- Contains a fiber reinforced adhesive which is important for roll stability in narrow widths, designed for temperature exposure to 450 °F for short periods of time, ideal for bonding a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials
