It is only recommended for difficult to bond substrates which include polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and thermoplastic rubber materials. On such treated surfaces the cured performance of Loctite cyanoacrylate adhesives is generally similar to that described in the TDS for the relevant adhesive.
