Dow Corning 93-104 ablative material is a 2-part coating that provides exceptional performance in high flux, high shear environments. It is used to protect launch platforms and rocket nozzles and it can withstand extreme temperatures from -85 to 392 °F (-65 to 200 °C) and up to 5432 °F (3000 °C) for several min. - Tough tenacious characteristics. Low thermal conductivity. Easy fabrication. Can be sprayed or trowelled. Good resistance to weathering, moisture and ozone.
