Self-Aligning Bearings have two rows of balls, or raceways, in the interior ring of the apparatus and one exterior raceway with an arc that is ancillary with the bearing axis. This construction allows the inner ring of the bearing to divert around the center in order to instantaneously correct misalignments. These bearings are ideal for applications in which mechanisms may shift during operation or otherwise. Self-Aligning Bearings are available in four measurements:
These bearings are ideal for high speed work where misalignment is possible. Built tough and designed to produce only small amounts of heat and friction, these bearings require little maintenance over time.
