Brazing rods for welding (filler metals for Copper, Brass, Aluminum & Steel) are used where close fit-ups cannot otherwise be maintained and yet joint ductility is of prime importance. Some brazing rods allow for brazing silver, tungsten but require the use of flux.

    MB2 brazing rods are virtually the same as MBO rods. Their unique characteristics contain 2% silver which allows for a slightly lower brazing temperature and a wider brazing range. This MB2 rod is suitable for poorer joint fits.

    Brazing rods are the standard of the industry. MBO rods are very fluid, economical, medium temperature brazing alloy rods. These rods are self fluxing on copper and ideally suited for copper to copper joints in air conditioners and electrical connections.
