  • They feature shatter resistance and closer height tolerances than commonly available in porcelain insulators
  • Moisture and heat-resistance properties of glastic insulators are higher than those of conventional plastic insulators
  • Insulators mounted within a suitable electrical cabinet are considered indoors even though the cabinet itself is outdoors
