The Kester 7210 defoamer is a non-silicone formulation designed to eliminate excessive foam in aqueous cleaning systems using tap, filtered or DI water. Although developed to control foam during alkaline saponifier spray cleaning of rosin flux residues, 7210 is also used to control foam caused by flux neutralizer solutions and some metal surface cleaning formulations. - In spray cleaning operations where water soluble flux and paste are being removed, 7210 will help reduce foam caused by surfactants used in these products. The silicone-free characteristic assures complete rinsing from the circuit board assemblies.
