3M™ Scotchcast™ Electrical Resin 253 has semi flexibility, good adhesion, mechanical shock resistance and thermal conductivity. The properly cured resin with thixotropic nature is readily applicable by dipping, extrusion or troweling in applications where resistance to running or sagging is required. This resin is suitable for use on coils, transformers, motors, modules, electrical as well as electronic components or assemblies. MIL I 16923E Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 253 is a 2 part, oven curing, thixotropic, filled, epoxy based, liquid resin. The semi flexible resin is specially formulated to operate continuously at 266 °F (130 °C).
