Angular Contact Ball Bearings
Angular Contact Ball Bearings are designed to reduce rotational friction while maintaining the integrity of axial loads. These bearings are designed so that the carrying capacity of the bearings increases in conjunction with increases in the contact angle.
- Single Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings can accommodate axial loads in one direction only. A single row bearing is typically adjusted against a second bearing.
- Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings correspond in design to two single row angular contact ball bearings arranged back-to-back, but take up less axial space. They are able to accommodate radial loads and axial loads in that rotate both directions.
EIS supplies Angular Contact Ball Bearings from top suppliers NTN and SKF. These bearings feature open enclosures with cage materials and rolling element materials that are made of either brass or steel. Contact angles are available in 15, 25, 30, or 40 degree measurements.
