Monofilament rod is also available in a variety of resins. Zeus Product Families
PTFE Tubing
- Very Lubricious - Lowest coefficient of friction of any polymer
- Working temperature range 500° F (260° C) to -454° F (–270° C)
FEP Tubing
- Excellent transmission of ultraviolet rays
- Maximum working temperature 400° F (204° C)
PFA Tubing
- Combines attributes of PTFE and FEP
- Maximum working temperature 500° F (260° C)
PEEK Tubing
- Ideal stainless steel replacement
- Working temperature range 500°F/260°C
ETFE Tubing
- Excellent impact resistance
- Working temperature 302°F/150°C
PTFE Heatshrink Tubing – 2:1 & 4:1 Shrink Ratios
- Requires 650°F +/- 25° (340°C +/- 5°) to recover
- The mandrel being covered must be able to withstand this range of temperature
FEP Heatshrink Tubing – 1.3:1 & 1.6:1 Shrink Ratios
- Requires 420°F +/- 50° (215°C +/- 10°) to recover
- Only requires a small degree of recovery
