Jack Swanstrom, former President of Diamond Tools, established Swanstrom Tools as a manufacturer of exceptionally high quality electronic cutters and pliers utilizing the latest in ergonomic design and cutting edge forging technology . Jack was fortunate to assemble many of the best technicians and skilled craftsmen that worked with him at Diamond to join the new company. Swanstrom Super Tools
Super Tools are forged from 52100 ball bearing grade steel. We have found this grade of steel superior in its ability to take and “hold” an edge. The high chromium, high carbon, steel used in Super Tools insures the customer will receive maximum strength and performance. Swanstrom Super tools are induction hardened to a Rockwell strength of 62 and are also treated with black oxide to minimize corrosion and discolorization. Supers can be ordered with ergonomic handles which minimize and reduce the occurrence of carpal tunnel stress and are also available with traditional handles.
