Problem
Various customers had safety issues with drippings from dispensing liquids from various 30 & 55 gallon drum sizes. Drippings on the floor caused a slippery condition when the clay products and red rags used to absorb the drips did not perform as advertised.
Solution
The PIG® Barrel Top Mat kept the drum areas neat – no more messy, dangerous pump drips sliding down the sides of there drums and onto there clean floor. There were no more puddles or dirty rags on top of the drums.
They also purchased the PIG® DRI loose absorbent which unlike the clay pellets, which simply coated, PIG® DRI truly absorbs liquids and oils then eliminating the dangerous slippery conditions.
Features & Benefits
The PIG® Barrel Top Mats are precut for perfect fit on 30 & 55 gallon drums with precut ¾” bring openings so you can use a fill gauge which improved cleanliness, reduced slippery safety issues, kept the drum areas neat and free of the dirty red rags and will help reduce waste. The PIG® DRI is cellulose-based, it is twice as absorbent as clay and it’s incinerable so you use less and save money on inventory and disposal costs. Represents $20,000 of new EIS Industrial sales annually.
