Problem
RODIA (located in Europe) #2106 material was not meeting specifications upon arriving at the customer.  RODIA was unresponsive to the customers problem.  Customer was falling behind in their production requirements.

 

Designed Requirements
Customers wanted a domestic silicone supplier who could meet all flexural and curing specifications.  Also, wanted the materials to be stocked locally in cold room facility.

 

Solution
Worked together with customer’s engineering team and Dow Corning to meet all customer specifications.  Customer sampled 2 drums of Dow Corning #2106 material which will be stocked locally in the EIS Branch cold room facility.

 

Results
Customer has a local distributor to lower their inventory cost and a local salesman who can be responsive to their needs.  Also, the product is manufactured domestically which will cut down freight costs.  Dow’s support is second to none.  Increase annually sales of over $200,000.
