Problem:
Customer wanted a sealant that they could use to back fill the leads on a new automotive LED tail light that they were designing for an off road construction equipment manufacture.
Designed Requirements
Material must bond well to the plastic housing of the tail light assembly and be a good sealant. Material must be opaque.
Solution
Cytec FP-1306 two-component urethane sealant.
Features/Benefits
Cytec FP-1306 with its mixed viscosity of 16,000 cps flows well. It has a good work life of 48 minutes. FP-1306 has very good bond strength. The amber color works very well in this application.
