On January 4, 2010, EIS, Inc., wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, announced its acquisition of the assets of Fay Electric Wire Corporation of Elmhurst, Illinois.

EASA Convention 2010 - EIS continued a streak of success in Orlando, Florida, June 27-29. Suppliers showcasing materials and/or equipment in the EIS booth included ACE Equipment, Breyden, BW Calverley, Carpenter, Elantas, ElecTest, EM Quik-Sleeve, H2O Weld, HeatTek, JRI, NTN, Posi-Lock, Rea, RTD Company, and Scheiing. Pirates was the theme, and a Princess and a Pirate were on hand for photos. Wire winding demos, showcasing Scheiing’s winding machine, and slot machines, on which attendees took chances at winning MP3 players, drew continuous crowds.
